BELIEFS
Castle Rock Christian is connected to the group of independent Christian churches committed to the ideals of the Restorationist Movement - A desire to BREAK DOWN denominational BARRIERS and TO ACCEPT NO DOCTRINE OTHER THAN THE BIBLE ITSELF.
IN SHORT, WE DESIRE THE RESTORATION OF "THE KIND OF CHURCH WE READ ABOUT IN THE NEW TESTAMENT."
We believe that God exists. We believe that there is only one God, made up of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
GOD
BIBLE
We believe that the Scripture is the one and only true authority for man and the church. The Bible is the infallible and inerrant Word of God and was given to us that we may understand and know God.

We believe that man was made to live a sinless existence with God in Heaven. However, all of us have fallen into sin, and this imperfection destroys our connection to a perfect God.

MANKIND
CHRIST
We believe that Jesus Christ really lived a perfect, sinless life. He came that humankind might be restored in a saving relationship with God because God wants all people, everywhere,
to be saved.

We believe in the literal bodily resurrection of Jesus from the grave. He did this to prepare a place for us in Heaven, giving us hope after death.
RESURRECTION

SALVATION

We believe that our salvation involves hearing the gospel, believing in Christ as Lord, repenting of one’s sins, confess one’s faith in Christ, be baptized by immersion.
We believe that the Holy Spirit dwells in every person who becomes a Christian. This Spirit is God interacting in the life of every believer; encouraging us, edifying us, and interceding for us.
SPIRIT

END TIMES
“Jesus will return to take us to be with him forever. The Second Coming changes everything. God alone
reigns, though we only see that reign by faith. Our journey must learn and remember to desire Him alone. Apart of the celebration of communion, we remember this truth: “Christ has died; Christ has risen; Christ will come again.” May He come quickly.”
